This supplement is derived from the waxy coating of sugar cane, which is something I've never heard of. Policosanol has several purported benefits relating to cholesterol. This particular product is of great value when considering that the suggested use only requires one capsule a day, and there are 120 capsules in the container. It's also great to know the product was made in the USA(California) and is non-GMO. One downside to this supplement is the apparent amount of fillers in the capsules. I understand some powders require flow agents, but it's just preferable to see as little additives as possible, and this one has at least 3. But I've experienced no GI issues, and taking one capsule a day is a breeze compared to many other supplements, so it's very easy to use.

Great product; you are getting a four-month supply for a great price. It's a great addition to my wellness plan as a boost of antioxidants. I wish it was third-party tested, but it is made in the USA and follows all GMP standards. it is only one capsule a day, which is so much better than my two capsules for my other supplements. The capsule is very easy to swallow and the capsules are vegetables.

This product has many potential benefits and is fairly priced. It's hard to say how efficient it works until a person has tried it for several months, but the ingredients are designed to be a great anti-oxidant, so should help to reduce oxidative damage to the body, while supporting the blood stream to remove the sludge that clogs it up. This leads to positive effects, so I am happy to recommend this product. I didn't rate the benefits as a "pain relief" product because I cannot say we experienced any nor can I reasonably think this would create that benefit, so that is a conclusion you should draw as you experience this product for yourself.
These policosanol capsules are easy to swallow and it has been easy to add them to my routine.I like that this is a natural product extracted from sugar cane wax, and I like that the capsules are vegetarian. I haven’t been taking this long enough to show results in my lipid profile , but feel hopeful that I will see improvements over time. The price for 120 servings (four months) seems reasonable.

I've been taking Policosanol supplements for many years now as part of my daily vitamin/supplement regimen. I initially started after it was recommended to me by a nutritionist I hired to review what I was taking and/or should be taking. Policosanol was one of several supplements she wanted me to add, and I've been taking it ever since. The dosage of this product is the same as what I have been using, so I didn't need to adjust anything at my end. I didn't notice any adverse effects making the change to this brand. It looks to be a viable alternative brand for me.
I watched a few videos on policosanol that made me very interested in the potential of this supplement. This option seems to me to be a very cost-effective option, as you get 4 months for under $30 at the time of this review, and the 40mg dosage present here seems supported by research studies.The pill itself is not too large and I found it quite easy to swallow. No aftertaste or pill-shivers (if you get them, you know what I mean!) so overall quite an easy supplement to take, physically.As other health issues have negatively impacted my physical activity (and one medication caused weight gain), I've been concerned about my lipid levels. Looking forward to seeing how policosanol impacts my next bloodwork.
I take Policosanol Supplements because of the antioxidant properties and the various health benefits it may help. The capsules are easy to swallow with no after taste. It is made in a US GMP certified facility. ANEW VITA has several highly rated supplements. Since there isn’t any mention of 3rd party testing I will give them 4 Stars.
Policosanol is one of those supplements I use off and on and this was a good idea to get back on it. These are easy to swallow. No taste issues. No ill effects from use. Reasonable sized dose as well at 40 mg. Like the product.

After a couple years of taking a lot of random supplements, there have been times I've felt exceptionally good. One of those times, I traced back to some combination of things including beef heart, resveratrol, and B supplements. I was not able to recreate that, but I have continued to feel pretty good, overall, when taking some or all of those. After a week of this stuff, I've noticed myself feeling really good again. You never know with these things - it's been good weather and maybe I'm just feeling good for other reasons. But my general wellness feeling does coincide with starting this supplement, so I can't ignore it. I'm on other supplements, but those were well underway for a while before I started this one.It appears to be a high-quality supplement, made in USA, and they brag about the conditions it was made in, etc. I think this is worth a try for anyone looking for better general wellness. Even if you don't feel a big difference, it's always nice knowing you've got some super healthy antioxidants in your diet.
At the heart of this is (120) 40mg "vegetable" capsules of policosanol allegedly from Cuban Sugar Cane. Policosanol is supposed to help with LDL but I'm not sure if this is better than prescribed medication.The capsules are very white & have no strange scent or taste.It's funny the emphasis on "plant based". Am I to think there are "meat based" capsules elsewhere?The serving size is 1 capsule per day.
